My protocol

194 supplements a day. 15 days on, then 5 days of detox. Then it starts over again. Good thing I don't have issues taking pills. I have 17 to take every 4 hours, 24 hours a day, including 1am and 5am. A lot of work and a lot of money! First order was just over 14 hundred dollars. Next month should be a bit less. I'm confident that where God leads, He will provide. This protocol was designed specifically for me. Tailor made like a suit with all the measurements to my specifications.

God is so good! Pray for Lulu and me as we hammer out all the details between my work schedule and life in general. Neither one of us is getting much sleep right now.

Be blessed, All.

Coming home tomorrow

After a full morning meeting with Dr. Isaacs we walking around and explored more. Time Square, walked past Madison Square Garden, the garment district and then back to the hotel. We've had a great full time. We've had our fill and are ready for sleepy Idaho again. Early evening and early flight tomorrow morning.

God is good.

Met with Dr. Isaacs today

What's on my mind? Well, I'm thinking that I'm blessed to be here in this city even though it's for the reason that I'm here. I'm thinking that I'm rich with people that love me and my family enough to give their money, concerns, prayers, cards, letters, poems and a variety of other things to show how much they care.

I know that what I'm dealing with is serious and scary; cancer is no joke. I'm also confident that we are choosing the best treatment available for what I'm dealing with. Meeting with Dr. Isaacs today was reassuring and I am more confident and resolved to follow the treatment she prescribed. The protocol will be challenging to follow while working full time, but I know it's doable. A lot of supplements and cleansing (detox) to be done daily and some, several times a day. The good thing is I can eat some fish now and several other things not allowed before. She also did an exam on me today and was pleased where I am health wise. We meet with her again tomorrow to go over the particulars of my treatment protocol. Lulu and I read over the program tonight and she has written down several question to ask and discuss with her tomorrow. Thank God for attentive spouses! She'll continue to make sure I stay on the straight and narrow.

I also, very much see God's hand in all of this. His ways are greater and higher that ours. I am confident that the monies will be there to continue this course of treatment. He hasn't failed me yet. Where God leads, He will provide.

With our Hotel being smack dab in the middle of Manhattan, we've been able to walk all over and not waste money on cab fares. We toured the Empire State Building and the view was spectacular! We walked down Broadway while I sang, On Broadway (George Benson.) What an absolute rush. At one point I turned around to say something to Lulu and she was crying. I asked her, "What's wrong, honey?" She said "Nothing, I can't believe how good God is. I can't believe we're here in is this amazing city." I couldn't agree more. Thank you all for making this possible for us. Having cancer sucks and it's times like this that bring hope and hope always helps with healing.

Because He first loved us,
Dave

The day quickly approaches!

Very early Tuesday morning we fly out to New York to start my treatment. I wanted to say thank you to everyone that has given, prayed and sent cards and letters. I read every one several times over and pray for you as well. I know the journey ahead of me will be long and will take more discipline and devotion. I am committed to beat this cancer in my body and will not waver until it's gone! I know that you are all with me in this battle and with God on our side who can be against us? Thus far, with your help we've been able to raise over 10,000 dollars towards my treatment, Praise God! This is enough to get us started and set for a few months. My monthly supplements will be around 1,000 dollars. We will also need to go back to NY in six months and again at a year. Once I'm cancer free my monthly supplements intake should drop quite a bit. Only God knows the timing of everything.
Keep on praying for me and my family, this is effecting Lulu, Gianna and Aaron and they need your prayers and support. A word of encouragement, letters, cards, email, facebook, a hug; take them out to lunch, dinner, coffee, a movie, would be wonderful!

First week back at work was good and hard at the same time. I'm glad to be back doing what I love and with people I love too. I work with some amazing people; Noel, you are a rock star in my book. Thank you for caring and showing it the way you do.
Keep praying and giving as God provides and you are able.

Much love,
Dave
